Let me tell you, upgrading from the Toyota Corolla LE to the Corolla XSE Hatchback felt like stepping into a whole new world. Don’t get me wrong, the LE is a fantastic car—reliable, great on gas, and an all-around champ. But the XSE? It’s like the LE decided to put on its best suit and show up for a night out.
First Impressions
The first thing I noticed was the interior upgrade. Gone were the cloth seats I’d grown used to in the LE. Add in the 18-inch alloy wheels and the aggressive front grille, and it feels like Toyota really wanted to make a statement with this model. Comparing to the LE
Even though the XSE is a clear upgrade, I still have a lot of respect for the LE. It’s simple, reliable, and gets the job done without any fuss. It’s the kind of car you can count on for years without second-guessing. But the XSE adds that extra flair—both in style and performance—that makes driving a bit more exciting.
